Sacraments

Parents are required to participate in a Baptismal Preparation Class before having their child baptized.  For arrangements, please contact Paula Bennett (601) 954-0602 or [email protected].

Church arrangements should be made at least 6 months ahead.  You must call in person at the Parish Office to discuss scheduling and sacramental preparation.

Children desiring to receive the sacraments of First Communion (offered in 2nd grade) or Confirmation (offered in 11th grade) at St. Joseph Parish must be registered in our parish Faith Formation classes for their grade level to receive the preparation for these Sacraments.  This includes children who attend area Catholic Schools.
