St. Joseph Altar

This Sunday, March 16, after both morning Masses!

This is a tradition begun in the Middle Ages in Sicily to show gratitude for the end of a severe drought and famine.  Everyone is asked to bring something for the altar - traditionally no meat is included - but breads, fruits, pastries, and anything else you might want to bring are welcomed.  The altar will be blessed and we will enjoy this reminder of our many gifts and blessings!  Also we will be collecting nonperishable food items and cash donations for the Hispanic Ministry in Canton.  Please join us for fellowship and to give alms as part of your Lenten observance.
